Application to Universities and Colleges


 The 2018 KUCCPS Placement Service announces that the online application portal has been opened to all school principals. The principals are now expected to upload course choices for the 2018 KCSE candidates for their respective schools.
The portal may is now accessible to all schools/examination centers.  These are the schools or centers that had registered 2018 KCSE candidates and who wish to apply for various courses.
KUCCPS is giving all 2018 candidates a chance to make choices for courses they wish to undertake: degree and TVET courses in universities and colleges respectively under Government sponsorship.

School principals are urged to make sure that all candidates submit their choices of courses in the various categories (degree, diploma, craft certificate and artisan certificate). No candidate should be denied chance to make these choices. The minimum requirement for admission to diploma courses is a mean grade of C- (C minus) and for certificate course is a mean grade of D plain. According to last year's admission, those with D- (D minus) were admitted for Artisan courses. This means that every other candidate can qualify for a certain course based on his/her performance and ability.

The school/center application system opened on Monday, October 15, 2018 and  will close on December 31, 2018 at midnight.

KENYA'S NEW CURRENCY

December 11 2018, the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) unveiled Kenya’s new generation coins. These coins start circulating immediately.   The new currency, was gazetted on Tuesday December 11, 2018. One remarkable thing in this Kenya's new currency is that it contains features that make it accessible to visually impaired people. The unveiling of the new generation coins was presided over by President Uhuru Kenyatta in the capital Nairobi. These coins will be available in denominations of Sh1, Sh5, Sh10 and Sh20.
